"We're proud to achieve!" - school motto |

Shifnal is situated in the beautiful county of Shropshire.
The school has open aspects to fields and woodland and we have the benefit of sharing the site facilities and expertise of Idsall Secondary School, which has Sports College status.
Extension activities are organised for the more able pupils, including French lessons. Children are encouraged to take up instrumental tuition delivered by the Shropshire Music Service and our school staff. Pupils from each class sit on the School Council and take their responsibilities very seriously and once a week, older pupils serve lunch to Shifnal senior citizens in the dining hall. There is a rota of librarians who look after the refurbished library. |
There is an excellent Nursery at the school, led by highly qualified staff. Shifnal Primary School won an achievement award from the Department for Education and Skills in 2001 and more recently a prestigious, nationally recognised Quality Award Mark for excellent practice in Early Years Education in the Nursery and Reception classes. |

Pupils are praised for demonstrating good behaviour and citizenship in the wider aspects of the community in Shifnal and for success, in whatever field. There is House System named after traditional local trades Curriers, Dyers, Saddlers and Tanners, and pupils are allocated a House on joining the school. |
There are many-extra curricular after school clubs, which include football, hockey, netball, rounders, short tennis, cricket, crafts, dance and music. During the autumn term children in Year 6 have swimming lessons.
The Under 5's Foundation Stage Play Area is used throughout the year.
The school has a purpose-built, newly refurbished, cookery area, which is used by all pupils. |
The hall is used for assembly, PE and school lunch.

The PTFA has generously contributed to the upkeep of the garden areas by funding projects and holding regular gardening sessions.
