PTFA The Christmas Fayre is being held on Saturday 6 December at 12.00 noon. A letter will be sent out by the PTFA, but in the meantime could you please begin looking for items for sale – toys, books etc. or prizes for tombola, raffles etc. Father Christmas will be with us for the afternoon and there will be many stalls and attractions. We will need help from 9.30 am. in the morning to set up the Fayre and also during the afternoon – please leave your name at the office if you are able to help.
PANTOMIME – Letters have been sent with details of the visit to Wolverhampton to see “Peter Pan” on the afternoon of Friday 9 January – cost £13.50 per person. Tickets are selling fast, so please send in the form with payment if you would like to go. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
SCHOOL MEALS Next week will be week 4 of the menu. We are already making plans for our Christmas Dinner on Friday 12 December and the cook needs to place her orders with suppliers. A letter has therefore been sent home to find out how many children wish to have the dinner and it would be helpful if the forms could be returned by Tuesday 25 November.
UNIFORM We have a few second hand sweatshirts for sale at £1.50 each – mostly in smaller sizes.
BREAKFAST CLUB A reminder that breakfast club is open every morning from 8.00 am. until the start of school at 8.55 am. The charge is only £2.50, which includes cereals, toast, yoghurt etc. and a drink. Please ring to book a place, or just arrive at school if you have a problem one morning.
We ask that children do not arrive at school before 8.40 am. and if your child needs to arrive before that time, please consider using the breakfast club.
CHRISTMAS CONCERTS – 9 & 10 December 2008. Letters have been sent home this week giving details of the Christmas performances. There will be an early lunch at 11.45 am. on 10 December. Please return the slip, with payment, if you require tickets, by Monday 1 December. Allocations from the waiting lists will be made from 2 December 2008.
PARKING Please park in Curriers Lane when collecting your child from an after school club. Could you also use the pathway if the club is held on the playground and take care when coming to the school reception as the car park can be busy at these times.
