The total raised was just over £700.00 Disco – Tuesday 24 November 6.30 – 8.00 pm. for pupils from this school – entrance is £1.50 and refreshments will be on sale during the disco. |
CHRISTMAS CAROL CONCERT – ST. ANDREWS CHURCH – 6.00 p.m. Letters have been sent home this week informing you of this new Christmas celebration. Years 5 & 6, together with choir members in years 3 & 4 will be performing, but all parents are invited to join us.
CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCES Letters have been sent home this week with details of the Christmas plays. Please note the change of times for the Foundation Stage/Key Stage 1 performance. They are now :- Tuesday 8 December at 2.00 p.m. and Wednesday 9 December at 3.45 p.m. Key Stage 2 (Years 3,4,& 5) plays are on:- Tuesday 8 December at 6.00 p.m. and Wednesday 9 December at 1.30 p.m. Forms and payment for tickets should be sent into school by 30 November.
GIFTED & TALENTED REGISTER Please return the forms on the letter sent home this week if you feel your child is gifted and talented in an activity outside school.
PARENT FORUM – 3 December – 7.00 pm. If you intend attending this Forum, please return the form to school by Wednesday 25 November so that we have final numbers to assess the viability of this Forum.
KS1 TOILETS As you may be aware, we have been trialling different hand gels and washing/drying alternatives after the children have been to the toilet. We are currently looking at installing soap dispensers in the toilets and will keep you informed of the progress.
ROAD SAFETY As the nights are drawing in, we would like to notify all pupils to be extra careful when walking home and if riding bicycles to wear fluorescent clothing
SCHOOL MEALS Next week will be week 3 of the menu. However on Thursday 26 November the cook will be preparing a special “Sausage” meal – sausage & mash with onion gravy, or quorn sausage, BBQ sausage & onion melt with herby diced potatoes, baked beans, buttered sweetcorn & peas followed by toffee apple muffin or magic mousse.
BAGS2SCHOOLS The collection bags will be sent home next week, so please keep saving clothing, bedding, soft toys, shoes, bags and belts for the collection on 10 December. If you wish to collect a bag they are available from the office.
